10 Best Garba & Dandiya Nights in Mumbai 2026: Venues, Dates, Prices and Who Each Suits
From Falguni Pathak at BKC to two distinct Kora Kendra grounds in Borivali, compare ten Mumbai Garba and Dandiya events for October 2026. See dates, starting prices, venue details, family considerations and the extra gate charge one listing hides behind its ₹499 headline.
Planning Garba in Mumbai this October? Shardiya Navratri begins on 11 October 2026. Some of the city's dances run for nine nights through 19 October; others extend to 20 October, and a two-night event starts on 10 October. We compared ten specific, bookable Mumbai events using their organiser or ticket pages. The useful question is less “Which poster looks biggest?” than “Which place fits my people, journey and actual evening budget?”
Quick picks: Choose Falguni Pathak at BKC for her live nine-night show and an indoor convention venue; Kinjal Dave at Kora Kendra Ground 1 for a large devotional Garba setting with stated senior seating; Geeta Rabari at Kora Kendra Ground 4 for a different Borivali event with Kutchi folk character; Garba Dhoom in Malad for the lowest listed starting ticket in this selection; and SOBO Socialites for a one-night South Mumbai plan. These are editorial choices by occasion, not a measured popularity ranking.
Checked 3 October 2026. “From” prices are ticket-page starting figures, not a guaranteed checkout total. Select your date and ticket category, then check taxes, platform fees, compulsory gate charges, parking, food and return travel before paying. Venue entry, lineups and availability can change. *Kora Kendra Ground 1 ticket tiers changed between checks (a page snapshot showed ₹720; a newer indexed listing showed ₹810). Treat the live selected-date checkout as authoritative. **Rule34's ticket tile says ₹499, while its event description specifies roughly ₹500 redeemable at the venue plus a mandatory ₹200 non-redeemable gate charge: ₹700 payable per person. See the exact current checkout before purchase. “From” prices at other events can also rise with date, category and fees.
The ten choices, with the details that change your decision
1. Navratri Utsav with Falguni Pathak — BKC
11–19 October · Jio World Convention Centre · from ₹2,300. This is the plan for a group specifically coming to hear Falguni Pathak, rather than simply looking for the nearest dance floor. The event page promises her live performances across nine nights, an air-conditioned indoor space, a carpeted floor, food and drink options for sale and paid parking. It also advertises premium private pods, which are a different purchase from a standard entry ticket. If parents or colleagues are joining, agree on the budget together: two starting tickets alone are ₹4,600 before transport, parking, food or booking fees. Check the 2026 listing and available nights.
2. Kora Kendra Navratri with Kinjal Dave — Borivali Ground 1
11–20 October · Kora Kendra Ground 1 · price varies by date and ticket tier. Kora Kendra calls this its 22nd edition of devotional Raas Garba. Its organiser describes an Amba Mata area, a broad dance floor, lockers, a dedicated seating area for senior citizens and a VIP area with an AC lounge. It claims more than two lakh visitors across its festival and roughly 18,000–20,000 per day; those are organiser-reported figures, not an independently counted forecast for your night. The senior seating is a real reason to ask about this venue if an older family member wants to take part while resting between rounds. Ask whether access and seating require a particular pass. Check Ground 1 tickets and the organiser's updates.
3. Showglitz Navratri with Geeta Rabari — Borivali Ground 4
11–19 October · Kora Kendra Ground 4 · District lists entry from ₹500. Same broader Kora Kendra area, different ground, organiser and singer. Showglitz announces Geeta Rabari for all nine nights and leans into Kutchi and Gujarati folk music. Meet the group at the Ground 4 gate, not “somewhere at Kora Kendra”; a map pin and gate number shared in the WhatsApp plan are worth more than an attractive poster. See the organiser's 2026 page and check the selected-night ticket.
4. Rangilo Re with Parthiv Gohil — Goregaon East
Starting 11 October · NESCO Hall 6 · from ₹1,099. A ticket page describes a nine-night indoor Garba festival and lists Parthiv Gohil as a performer. It shows individual day options, so select the actual night before comparing prices. The ticket listing identifies Hall 6 at NESCO Centre; save its address and recheck the hall and gate on your pass, because nearby halls host separate events. For a mixed group coming from several suburbs, a specific NESCO hall is an easier meeting instruction than “Goregaon.” See dates, ticket categories and Hall 6 details.
5. Raas Rang Ghatkopar — eastern-suburb choice
11–19 October in the ticket date field · Police Hockey Ground, Ghatkopar · from ₹1,180. The organiser's description calls the space an AC dome and says its team has 17 years of event experience. That same description says “10 days” while the ticket date field shows 11–19 October, so confirm your intended night before sharing a plan. It mentions earlier artists and a 2016 Falguni Pathak event as history; that does not announce her for 2026 here. Choose this on location and confirmed live programme, not on a past lineup. Check the event's selected dates.
6. Dome Dandiya Nites — Worli
11–20 October · DOME, SVP Stadium · from ₹499. A central-city stadium option for friends who would rather meet around Worli than cross the city after work. The listing promises dance, performances and festive food, but does not name a specific 2026 headline singer on the page checked. Don't book on a circulating artist rumour. Compare the pass zone and group meeting point; a low first price may be for a particular category or date. Check Dome's 2026 listing.
7. Garba Dhoom — Infiniti Mall, Malad
11–20 October on its booking page · Infiniti Mall, Malad · from ₹299. This is the lowest advertised starting ticket in our ten-event comparison. The event page names Himang Joshi & Team and describes an indoor, air-conditioned celebration. A low starting price still does not tell you which night, ticket category or fees you will actually buy. Other public descriptions disagree about the mall's precise floor and final date, so use the current ticket and the mall's event update for the correct entrance. See the ticket page; check the mall's Instagram for practical updates.
8. Navli Navratri — a two-night start
10–11 October · FPH Garware Hall · ₹1,100 on the checked listing. A compact option if a long season pass is not your thing or your group can only meet before the weekday rush. The listing names the STARBEATS live band, an air-conditioned hall and dance prizes. Check the ticket's map pin and entry rules rather than assuming “Garware Hall” identifies the entrance sufficiently; this venue name can be confused with other similarly named places in Mumbai. Check Navli's two dates.
9. SOBO Socialites Garba Raas — one South Mumbai evening
Friday 16 October · Avsar The Banquet · from ₹850. A one-evening commitment with music, prizes and food stalls advertised on the booking page. It suits a group that wants a specific Friday plan rather than nine repeat visits. The listing does not establish that food is included, or specify a 2026 celebrity singer, so budget food separately and let the actual line-up decide. Save the exact banquet map pin before setting off. Check the 16 October booking page.
10. Rangilo Navratri at Rule34 — Kandivali West
11–19 October · Rule34 · ₹700 total payable per person according to the event description. An air-conditioned, DJ-led night, with music starting from 7:30 pm. Here is the checkout trap: the tile advertises ₹499, while the description calls the listing amount ₹500 redeemable on food and beverages and adds a mandatory, non-redeemable ₹200 gate payment. In practical terms, set aside ₹700 each at minimum; roughly ₹500 is a venue credit, not cash returned to you. Confirm the final treatment of the ₹499/₹500 rounding and any platform charges at checkout. If you mainly want a traditional live-singer setting, a DJ-led night will feel different. Read the pricing note on the organiser's ticket listing and see Rule34's 2026 countdown post.
Nearby 1. Raas Rang Thane with Naitik Nagda — Raymond Ground
11–20 October · Raymond Ground, Thane West · from ₹400. Dharmaveer Anand Dighe Pratisthan and CREDAI-MCHI Thane list Naitik Nagda and the N2 Band, a 7 pm Maha Aarti and Dandiya from 7:30 pm. The organiser says this annual event began in 2017. That history describes the Thane event; do not confuse it with Raas Rang Ghatkopar, which has a different venue and ticket. For a group living in Thane, compare the return journey against a Mumbai city night before the cheapest ticket decides for you. Check Thane's 2026 listing and selected-date price.
Nearby 2. Navrang Garba, Season 2 — Turbhe, Navi Mumbai
11–19 October · Le Méridien Navi Mumbai, Turbhe · from ₹472. Its organiser describes a hotel-venue Garba designed for families, friends and company groups, with a larger production and hospitality focus after its first season. That is a different evening from an open community ground; ask what your pass includes rather than assuming food or seating comes with it. The hotel's official address is D-33, Turbhe MIDC Road; check the event's gate instructions as well. Check Navrang's 2026 listing.
Why Garba belongs to Mumbai's story, not just its event calendar
Garba has devotional roots in Gujarat. UNESCO, which inscribed Garba in 2023, describes dancers moving around a lit earthen pot or an image of Amba, singing and clapping as the tempo rises. Dandiya Raas adds paired sticks in many festive settings; the two names appear together on Mumbai event posters, but a singer-led Garba circle, a stick-dance session and a DJ party can be different experiences.
Mumbai's Garba tradition predates ticketing apps. The 1909 Gazetteer of Bombay City and Island records Gujarati Hindu women performing Garba and separately describes large Dasara gatherings around Mumbadevi, Bhuleshvar and Madhav Baug. Those passages show an older city practice; they do not establish that any present-day ticketed event is its direct successor.
Today you can still find a devotional centre and family circles, alongside trained choreography, amplified live folk singing, Bollywood-friendly sets, competition prizes and the phone videos that travel from a ground to Instagram overnight. The scale is visible in organisers' own histories: Kora Kendra calls its Ground 1 programme a 22nd edition, while Showglitz stages a separate Ground 4 production. The modern choices make it especially important to ask what sort of music, dance space and crowd experience your group actually wants.
What will one Dandiya night really cost?
Start with ticket × people + booking fees + compulsory charges + return journey + food + any parking or locker charge. For two people, Garba Dhoom's advertised starting tickets would be ₹598 before extras; Kora Kendra Ground 1 at a ₹810 tier would be ₹1,620; and Falguni Pathak's starting tickets would be ₹4,600. At Rule34, plan on ₹1,400 payable for two according to its written pricing note, with about ₹1,000 of that redeemable inside the venue. None of these examples is a final bill or a promise that those tiers will still be available.
A practical group message is: “Our cap is ₹___ per person including entry, fees, food and the trip home. We meet at the named gate at ___ pm. Everyone sends the same selected-date ticket screenshot.” It catches the expensive misunderstandings before someone buys five non-matching passes.
Bring the people you actually want to go with
- With elders: ask about reachable seating, accessible entry, toilets, distance from drop-off and whether a companion needs a different pass. Kora Kendra Ground 1 specifically advertises senior seating; don't assume the other grounds offer it.
- With children: read that night's minimum age, ticket rule for children, noise level and exit plan. “All age groups” on a listing does not automatically mean a free children's ticket.
- New to Garba: choose a group that is happy to learn a slow circle first. Follow the flow, leave room for the next dancer, and ask before photographing strangers or posting close-ups of children.
- In a big friend group: choose the venue by where people can get home, not only by the singer. Share the hall or ground number, map pin, gate and a backup meeting spot.
- In festive clothes: wear footwear you can dance in for several hours, secure your dupatta and pockets, and check if sticks are supplied before buying a pair. The best outfit is the one you can safely move in.
For Borivali, remember that Ground 1 and Ground 4 are different bookings. For NESCO, check Hall 6 on your Rangilo Re ticket. For a mall, hall or banquet venue, check the selected-date entry instructions and transport home. Event policies may restrict outside food or drinks, so buy water or refreshments as the venue permits; don't assume you can carry your own tea into the dance.

Begin with Falguni Pathak at BKC; compare the full two-person cost and the venue's paid parking before purchasing.
We are bringing an older family member and want Garba, not just a party.
Look at Kora Kendra Ground 1 and call ahead about the actual seating and access arrangements for your chosen pass.
We need a lower listed price or a one-night commitment.
Compare Garba Dhoom for the listed ₹299 starting tier, Dome for ₹499 onwards, or SOBO Socialites for one Friday. Then compare checkout totals, not just tiles.
Where Instagram helps—and where it doesn't
Reels can show the sound, clothes and atmosphere more honestly than a static poster, and an organiser may post a last-minute gate or timing change there. For these 2026 events, you can check Falguni Pathak's account, a Showglitz 2026 announcement post, Rule34's 2026 countdown and Infiniti Mall's account. A reel can be older, sponsored or incomplete: confirm date, named ground, price and available ticket category on the linked organiser or booking page. We have not substituted an unverified social handle for any event's booking link.
The pause after the music
A night that brings grandparents, cousins, colleagues and first-time dancers into one circle is worth talking about the next morning. At home or while hosting guests afterwards, make the tea break easy: HI TEA packs the blend inside a small 210 ml handleless paper cup; add hot water and swirl. Each box has eight ready-to-use cups. For a bright, familiar taste try Mint Green Tea; for warm spice notes try Kahwa Green Tea. Find your flavour or see how a cup works. Tea is a pleasant conversation ritual, not a substitute for water during a long dance night.
Mumbai Dandiya 2026: frequently asked questions
When is Navratri 2026 in Mumbai?
The main nine-night period begins 11 October and runs through 19 October; Vijayadashami is on 20 October in the Maharashtra tourism listing. Events follow their own schedules: Navli lists 10–11 October, while Kora Kendra Ground 1, Dome and Garba Dhoom list dates through 20 October.
Where is Falguni Pathak performing in Mumbai in 2026?
The Navratri Utsav 2026 ticket listing places her at Jio World Convention Centre, BKC, from 11 to 19 October. Pick the specific evening and pass category before you compare costs.
Are both Kora Kendra events the same?
No. Kinjal Dave's Kora Kendra Navratri is listed at Ground 1 for 11–20 October. Showglitz with Geeta Rabari is at Ground 4 for 11–19 October. The location, organiser, artist and ticket are different.
What is the cheapest Dandiya ticket in this list?
Garba Dhoom showed a ₹299 starting ticket at the time of our check. That is an advertised tier, not a guarantee for your night or a full trip budget. Rule34's ₹499 tile requires extra reading: its description says ₹700 payable including a compulsory gate charge.
Is food or a pair of dandiya sticks included?
Only treat something as included if the selected pass explicitly says so. Food stalls or food “available” usually indicate a separate purchase; bring sticks only if venue policy allows and the organiser says they are needed. Check ID, entry age, cancellation rules and re-entry on the final booking screen.
Can I just arrive without a ticket?
Do not assume walk-in entry. Availability and gate policy can change, especially on popular nights. Open the direct event page on the day, select your date and confirm whether admission remains available.
